2012 April PAD Challenge: Day 10

2012 April PAD Challenge: Day 10

Okay; we’re somehow already a third of the way through April. How did that happen?
Today’s “Two-for-Tuesday” prompts are:
  1. Write a Forest poem.
  2. Write a Tree poem.
You can literally write about a forest. Or you can literally write about a tree. Or you can dive right into the metaphor separating the two. Your choice. Get creative with it.

"I can't see the forest,
for the trees."
Was the last thing he said,
when he hit his knees...
Begging for redemption.

  1. The tree in the forest lives longer than thee,
It's roots and branches so regal, modeled after them our clans, defined, are we?
The arborist and anthropologist no-doubt intrigued.
In man-kind, may we all continue to believe.
